Aletta began her journey in China, where she spent her formative years until high school. At just 16, she made the bold decision to move to Australia on her own—a country with a different language and culture—to pursue her legal education. Embracing these challenges, she enrolled at Bond University in Queensland, where she dedicated herself to her law studies.
During her time at university, Aletta was an active member of the student community, serving as the president of the Chinese Student Association. In December 2013, Aletta graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University, completing her degree in just two and a half years. By the age of 19, Aletta completed her Practical Legal Training at Leo Cussen and was admitted as a legal practitioner in the State of Victoria. Before joining Clothier Anderson Immigration Lawyers, Aletta gained valuable experience across various legal sectors, including private practice and community legal centres. She regularly volunteered at the Refugee and Immigration Legal Centre from 2016 to 2017 and has accumulated over seven years of specialised migration experience in private firms, handling a wide range of complex matters, including visa refusals and cancellations, public interest criteria, ministerial interventions, and AAT merits review. Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in Japanese, Aletta thrives on the cross-cultural interactions that her professional experience brings. Having once been in a vulnerable position as a migrant herself, Aletta truly understands the challenges her clients face and leverages her personal journey to deliver legal services that are both sound and thoughtfully aligned with her clients’ unique needs. Her commitment to integrity and empathy ensures that she provides not only effective solutions but also a sense of reassurance and trust for those she serves. |
