Tegan Weir
Senior Lawyer

Tegan joined Clothier Anderson Immigration Lawyers as a lawyer in October 2017.   She works on a variety of matters, from primary applications with the Department of Home Affairs, to Administrative Appeals Tribunal and Federal Circuit Court matters. Tegan enjoys complex migration work including public interest criteria, visa cancellations and Australian citizenship law.
 
In 2015 Tegan obtained a Juris Doctor at the University of New England. She has also completed a Graduate Certificate in Migration Law and Practice, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Bachelor of Arts (Legal Studies).
 
Tegan initially worked at a Perth based immigration law firm, obtaining a wide range of experience in migration law, particularly in the area of visa cancellations on character grounds. Tegan moved to Melbourne in September 2016 and worked in a corporate immigration team gaining experience in the Temporary Work and Skilled Migration Programs, advising employer and employee alike as to their relevant obligations and migration options.
 
Tegan will commence a Master of Laws at Australian National University in July 2018.
