Clare completed her double degree in Law and Arts at Monash University in 2012. After graduating, Clare began practising as an immigration lawyer at Erskine Rodan & Associates where she remained for four years. During this time, she also volunteered as a lawyer and migration agent at Refugee Legal.
From 2014 until 2015, Clare worked with asylum seekers detained on Manus Island as a Claims Assistance Provider for Playfair Visa and Migration Services. She continued her work with Playfair onshore until 2018. Since 2018, Clare has also volunteered at the National Union of Workers’ Migrant Law Drop In Centre.
Clare joined the team at Clothier Anderson Immigration Lawyers in July 2018.
An active and passionate member of the legal community, Clare co-founded the Young Migration Lawyers Committee of the Law Council of Australia in 2014 and has been involved with the committee since this time. She has presented migration law information sessions to various organisations, community groups, and legal centres.
Clare is currently undertaking her Masters’ degree in Human Rights Law at Monash University, recently completing a thesis on Safe Haven Enterprise Visas and their implications for individuals and the international protection regime.
