Samantha graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne in 2022. Following her studies, she completed the graduate program at MinterEllison, including a six month secondment with the Climate Justice and Corporate Accountability team at the Human Rights Law Centre and worked as an Associate to the Honourable Justice Murphy at the Federal Court of Australia. Alongside her work, Samantha has volunteered as a member of the Criminal Justice team for Liberty Victoria’s Rights Advocacy Project, advocating for regulatory reform over the use of police body worn cameras. Coming from a migrant family background, Samantha is deeply passionate about migration justice. She initially developed this interest in her experience working as a Tribunal officer in the Migration and Refugee division of the Administrative Review Tribunal, as a research assistant for Joel Tito’s pro bono migration practice at the Victorian Bar and as an Associate assisting with judicial review applications in respect of migration and refugee matters before the Federal Court of Australia. She is committed to furthering this important and rewarding work at Clothier Anderson Immigration Lawyers. |
